There are at least a dozen popular rulesets of no-gi grappling, but collegiate jiu jitsu needs one that fulfills a criteria of safety, fairness, and competition. After a comprehensive review of all the major rulesets, NAGA's was determined to maintain a high level of safety, while allowing for the growth with leglocks and non-traditional submissions.
